Build a simulated IoT system with sensors, an actuator, and a remote dashboard.
Objective
Build an IoT topology in Cisco Packet Tracer that monitors sensors and controls an actuator, then record a test log.
Steps
- Add a gateway, router, switch, and at least four IoT devices.
- Register the devices with the IoT server.
- Open the remote dashboard and confirm live readings.
- Set a threshold rule that turns on an actuator.
- Disconnect one device and confirm it shows as offline.
- Record at least six tests in a table with expected and actual results.
